There's a lot of stressful things going on around lately in my life and in your life maybe but I'm still thankful for everything that comes because it helps me to become stronger and bolder everyday.
Month of December is just around the corner again and when I checked my messages on my social media, facebook to be exact, my classmates before in elementary and highschool is suggesting a reunion again this coming December before christmas. A lot of them were very excited and just planned everything as if nextweek would be the event hihi. That's the thing I loved about them, they are advance when it comes to different things and ofcourse when it comes to this kind of thing where everyone will be together again after how many years because of the pandemic. I'm happy about it and excited too to be honest, well who's not right?
And speaking of reunions, the weekly prompt of the community Hive Learners has been out again and I just read it last night so here I am now, making this one. The topic is all about Reunions, see the the prompt below.
“Have you ever been to a reunion of your old classmates before? How was it? Tell us all about the one that stands out most in your memory.”
Have I been to reunions before? Yes, a lot of it actually and I enjoyed it. Those reunions made my life a little bit more exciting and interesting because you know I'm an introvert so I'm not that outside person. I usually stays at home and do some stuffs like gardening. Why? Because there's no hassle in it, there's no stress and it's peaceful being with those plants. Sounds weird but it's true.
The only time I attend to an occasion is when we're having our reunions. When we have our reunion, it's always been intersting and you will not be bored because the president of our class before together with the other officers will make games and activities that will be participated by us through out the event.
Let me just tell one of the reunion before the pandemic came in to action. This event happened way back 2018, December 20. See the date it's always been like that, five days before the christmas or four days something like that. Our batch decided to held it in one resort in town, actually a little bit fancy resort because it has a hotel where you can sleep overnight and that's what we planned. We held it there and stayed overnight in one of their rooms. We are a total of 22 so we chose the big room so we can do some stuffs like games but instead of games, we watch movies(most of it are horros) until dawn and we went home in the afternoon.
This reunion stands out among the past reunions that we did because in this one, our adviser was with us and we invited some of our teachers that engraved a great impacts in our lives. Also that day. they are not that strict teacher you see at school but a regular person at home but still we didn't cross the line between the interaction of students and a teacher (some students out there are crossing the line as if they are equal in standing and there's no more respect to observe). There's a lot of it in my previous school which I can't see as a good example.
Being with our teachers before was a great experience because on that day we really enjoyed the event. First we ate a lot of foods and we contributed to the cost of it by the way. The second thing we did was we played games such as Math Relay which made the event really alive because everyone was cheering on their teammate. Finding x and y has never been easy to begin with especially if x has been going out with another y lol.

Also one of the activity that we had that made this reunion to stand out among others is that we had an open forum which we voiced out the thoughts in our minds and everyone has to do it. No one is excluded which makes it very interesting. It started with our teachers then us but there's a twist with the use of a water bottle that we spinned in the middle then whoever it pointed to, he's the one who will talk.
A lot of us brought up the past struggles within the class, some misunderstanding but later on it was solved. We ended up laughing at those times were our bond was still weak. Not like today that it is solid and strong. Lastly we had a music jamming in the afternoon before we went to our room. And speaking of music, the famous karaoke did the job. The talents of my classmates didn't rust at all which made the jamming session great.
Lastly the movie marathon which scared the hell out of us. I forgot the titles of those movies or I should say I don't want to remember them haha. It scares me and it made me even imagined it went I got home lol.
We went home in the afternoon with a smile on our faces, bidding goodbyes to each and everyone once again. And that conludes my reunion memories.
Thank you for reading upto this far friends.
