Some days we hurt, but
Everyday we try
To hide our tears behind the smile
Wounded from the battles we fought
I cry when I read
About the dead toll in the East
Wars fought to live in peace
Peace we are yet to perceive
These tears keep dropping
Into scales of inequality
Hate speech to attack the minority
Only weaken the strength of the community
Someday I hurt, but
Admist the pain I try
To smile when I can
Hiding the battles I have fought,
I cry when I watch
Brutality of herdsmen surge
Farmers killed, houses torched
With fire I wish my tears could purge
Let our tears keep dropping
Balancing the scale of inequality
Minority for none, equity indeed
And see how powerful we can be....
