During the Bible study, brother Eli made mention that, people of old do not believe that Christ is God, for them He was just a man, but it’s clear from the bible that God (the father) begot the Son. Let’s look at what Psalms 2:7 says I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Brother Eli used the example of a seahorse, proving a male can reproduce, thus, the above scripture is justified. It is possible for the Father to beget the Son John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
He who creates the eye, obviously can see, He who structures the ear, can hear. A camera is a model of the human eye. It is because we can see, that’s why we created the camera. The Father who created the womb can obviously give birth.
John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
How did the Father begot the Son, you might ask, brother Eli read from
Hebrews 1:4-5
For to which of the angels did God ever say,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father”[a]?(B)
Or again,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son”
God did not say that to anyone else, He said it to His only Begotten Son, which is Jesus Christ.
