The Esker gallery is a free modern art space in Calgary. They bring in new exhibits all the time. Recently they had an awesome one - touchable and interactive. (Although now you might not want to touch it.)
Not every exhibit is good for kids, but this one was. Even managed to get a cameo from the little princess. :)
Give it a visit - good for an hour on your way to a coffee, once we’re back to normal.
