A few months ago, I started buying some trees on Hive Grove, and I decided to update people on how this has been going. In a way, it's more of a social activity where people can plant trees, and you can water these trees every day to earn back some Hive. When I started a few months back, I bought 2 Cherry Blossom trees, and it has worked out quite well. The economy is looking a bit solid, but there is always a risk that the funds could run dry in the future. There are consistent updates, though.
Current Progress
The dashboard under your profile makes it easy to see how much you get in and out of the platform. I am nearly at the point of breaking even with my trees from a few months ago. So, with this, I am deciding to buy two more trees for my land. I will have to buy one piece of land for 4 Hive as I only have 4 tree slots right now.
The costs of the trees are above, but I want to keep my purchases around 20 Hive. So I will go for a willow and oak tree this time.
This makes it so I have spent 41 Hive on this game, but I have gotten 19 Hive back. It's relatively low effort, as I only have to show up once a day. With these 2 new trees, I do expect for the investment to pay off in a few months, and my risk is more or less around 21 Hive right now.
Conclusion
Hive Grove is a fairly nice thing to do once a day, and you are rewarded just for showing up. There have been a lot of changes, including the leaderboard and other things, but I don't bother too much with those. I just show up and water my plants, and by doing so, I have almost made up for what I put in initially. I have bought that investment back up, but it should pay for itself in a few months if I just show up every day. If things work out, I might expand my land further in a few months with a small goal of a fully matured tree of every type.
