I always looked forward to weekends because it’s our family time and I get to spend it with my little princess. It’s actually our first time visiting this newest luxury hotel resort here in Cebu, NU Star. It’s located in the South Road Properties of Cebu City. We wanted to try their famous restaurant but it’s always fully booked. We’re lucky enough that we were invited by my husband’s cousin for a farewell dinner so we really grab the chance to be there. They also want to meet our little princess so it was a great chance to hang out with them because we never know when to see them again here in the Philippines.
When we got to the hotel resort, construction was still going since the resort is not completely finished yet but they do accept hotel stay-ins. We do have a room voucher but we wanted to wait for their swimming pool to be fully operational and hopefully, it will open the next month. We had our dinner at Xin Tian Di Chinese restaurant just right beside the Casino. Since Zadie is with us, we’re not allowed to pass by the Casino area instead there’s another way leading to the restaurant. The food of course was really great at satisfying. The service was fast and the waiters were so pleasant and welcoming. We really enjoyed dining at Xin Tian Di. Right after our dinner, we stroll around the hotel and checked some other restaurants, if I’m not mistaken there were only 4 restaurants open but all of them were fully booked. So if you plan on checking the place make sure to book ahead to avoid waiting time.
