Latidos

el latido del corazón tiene un latido que le late y este, otro, que viene de otro;

Nuestro propio latido de espina, de roca, de rocío;

Bate

Each wave brings its own sea, each drop its winter,
in every rose the bee gets a garden.
These truths under the sky are contemplated
And of little use if they are not enjoyed.

What else do we look for that does not exist?
The thorn has its own inner flower,
the heartbeat of the heart has a beat that beats it and this one, another, that comes from another;
and they all come from the same heartbeat, from a first night
repeating itself like the waters that run always in the same river.

What else is there that we do not seek?
Our own heartbeat of thorn, of rock, of dew;
the beat to see the sea of the wave,
the winter in the drop
or the flower in the bee.
