Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday!. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all participants recommend music to each other. I don't know if they are necessarily political protest songs, but my recommendations today are songs of peace, hope, society and even freedom. I don't have much to say, I feel like I'm surrounded by a civil war right now, there's not even time to listen to music these days, but you know Tuesdays are for this musical dynamic that I've always liked, I hope you like these songs.

¡Bienvenidos a Three Tune Tuesday!. Un agradable espació en la comunidad Music que nació de la idea del hermano @ablaze, donde todos los participantes nos recomendamos música entre nosotros. No sé si necesariamente son canciones de protesta política, pero mis recomendaciones de hoy son cantos a la paz, a la esperanza, a la sociedad y hasta a la libertad. No tengo mucho que decir, siento que estoy rodeado por una guerra civil en este momento, ni siquiera hay tiempo de escuchar música estos días, pero ya saben que los Martes son para esta dinámica musical que siempre me ha gustado, espero les gusten estas canciones.

This song is a critique of society, of people who allow themselves to be blinded by the world, by politics. Both sides are usually wrong, political leaders will always be people who work for their personal interests, but normal citizens fall into their games, there is nothing like having their own criteria and the ability to discern between good and evil. In this song Shakira talks about God, how he has been displaced by the government of the world and the people who are managed like puppets. I share with you this epic cover that my brother @fernanblog from Medellin and I did here in Caracas, but in one way or another we managed to get into the same scene to make music together, if you do not know this song, it's time to make it part of your playlist.

Esta canción es una crítica a la sociedad, a las personas que se dejan cegar por el mundo, por la política. Ambos bandos suelen estar errados, los líderes políticos siempre serán personas que trabajan por sus intereses personales, pero los ciudadanos normales caen en sus juegos, no hay nada como tener criterio propio y la capacidad de discernir entre el bien y el mal. En esta canción Shakira habla de Dios, de como ha sido desplazado por el gobierno del mundo y de las personas que son manejadas como títeres. Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida by La Oreja de Van Gogh, an album that everyone should have in their collection. It is a beautiful album, it sounds like stories of various dreams, however this song is halfway through the album and it is powerful, a critique of society, a stronger rock sound and lyrics with the hope of achieving a better world for everyone. It speaks to us of realizing between what we were and what we are now, how everything has gone astray, or at least that's how I feel. In times of crisis I always think about this and that we all have to do our bit to change our environment. This is a cover I made for the first weeks of the Hive Open Mic, but be sure to look for the original version 😉

Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida de La Oreja de Van Gogh, un álbum que todos deberían tener en su colección. Es un disco hermoso, parecen historias de varios sueños, sin embrago esta canción se encuentra a mitad de álbum y es poderosa, una crítica a la sociedad, un sonido más fuerte y rockero y una letra con la esperanza de alcanzar un mundo mejor para todos. Nos habla de darnos cuenta entre lo que éramos y lo que somos ahora, como todo se ha desviado, o al menos así la siento yo. En tiempos de crisis siempre pienso en esto y que todos tenemos que aportar un gran de arena para cambiar nuestro entorno. Este es un cover que hice para las primeras semanas del Hive Open Mic, pero no dejen de buscar la versión original 😉

Espero mi amiga @zullyscott me perdone por traer un video del pasado, pero es que Shakira nunca compartió un video oficial y la versión de ella me tocó el corazón en su momento a través de la comunidad Hive Open Mic. Esta es una crítica a la sociedad, especialmente a los políticos. Creo que pega muy bien con la situación de mi país en este momento, ya que los políticos siempre se han caracterizado por robar, pero esta vez fue el robo del siglo, se robaron la decisión del pueblo; en fin, Dónde Están Los Ladrones es una de las canciones más maravillosas de Shakira, e incluso llena de rabia en su sonido original. Es triste saber que letras de canciones como esta siempre estarán vigentes, pero también la sed de libertad de los pueblos 🙏

I met this song the day my dad recorded it for the Hive Open Mic, it is called Libre and was popularized by Nino Bravo. That same day he told me the story behind it and the lyrics touched my heart, for those who do not know it, in short it is the story of a man who died with longings for freedom, and in fact managed to be free in the last moments of agony, I really can not talk more about it at this time, but look for the original song and the full story behind it. Definitely Freedom is the most beautiful right of every living being, no one has the right to take it away from us ❤️

Esta canción la conocí el día que mi papá la grabó para el Hive Open Mic, se titula Libre y fue popularizada por Nino Bravo. Ese mismo día me contó la historia detrás de la misma y la letra me llegó al corazón, para los que no la conocen, en resumen es la historia de un hombre que murió con anhelos de libertad, y de hecho logró ser libre en los últimos momentos de agonía, de verdad no puedo hablar más de ella en este momento, pero busquen la canción original y la historia completa detrás de ella. Definitivamente la Libertad es el derecho más hermoso de todo ser vivo, nadie tiene derecho a arrebatárnosla ❤️
