The first time I heard this Colombian I really disliked him, the sound of his voice seemed strange and ridiculous to me. I don't know if that first impression is accurate, but I think that after so many hits I probably adapted to his voice. The thing is that since 2020 I do not stop singing his songs, I feel that they are empty and that anyone could write the lyrics, but he is a genius to make catchy music and to meet the expectations of platforms like Spotify and Youtube. As you know, I am a lover of music videos and one of the things I like most about Camilo is that he has shown a whole reality show through his videos, seeing his courtship, wedding, honeymoon, buying a house, pregnancy and birth of his baby with Eva Luna. Somehow this has given them a very important publicity.
La primera vez que oí a este colombiano me desagradó mucho al oído, el sonido de su voz me pareció extraño y ridículo. No sé si esa primera impresión es acertada, pero creo que de tantos éxitos posiblemente me adapté a su voz. El caso es que desde 2020 no paro de cantar sus canciones, siento que son vacías y que cualquiera podría escribir las letras, pero es un genio para hacer música pegadiza y para cumplir con las expectativas de plataformas como Spotify y Youtube. Como saben, soy amante de los videos musicales y una de las cosas que más me gusta de Camilo es que ha mostrado todo un reality show a través de sus videos, viendo su noviazgo, boda, luna de miel, compra de una casa, embarazo y nacimiento de su bebé junto a Eva Luna. De alguna manera esto les ha dado una publicidad muy importante.

1. (Aeropuerto)
What is fashionable in Latin music is to put together phrases and words that combine well with each other. They are not necessarily bad songs, I just feel they are simple, but with the thought that they are made to be hits then it's fine. Aeropuerto has a lot of reggaeton, the beat that is all the rage around here. There is no way not to spend the whole day repeating and humming this song, it transmits joy and good vibes.
Lo que está de moda en la música latina es juntar frases y palabras que combinen bien unas con otras. No necesariamente son canciones malas, solo las siento simples, pero con el pensamiento de que están hechas para ser éxitos entonces está bien. Aeropuerto tiene mucho reggaetón, el ritmo que está de moda por acá. No hay manera de no pasar el día entero repitiendo y tarareando esta canción, transmite alegría y buena vibra.
2. Pesadilla
I love this second song, it's too crazy as he is very upset because someone was pretending to his wife, but it was in his dreams 😅 it has a lot of influence of Mexican sounds although it's still a pop song but I think it's catchier than the previous song. Again I recommend it if you want to listen to nice music to have a good time.
Amo esta segunda canción, es demasiado loca ya que él está muy molesto porque alguien pretendía a su mujer, pero era en sus sueños 😅 tiene mucha influencia de sonidos mexicanos aunque no deja de ser una canción pop pero creo que es más pegajosa que la canción anterior. Nuevamente la recomiendo si quieren escuchar música agradable para pasar un buen rato.
3. Pegao
I loved this song since I heard it and I found the video very funny where he finally shows himself as a dad of his baby Indigo. The lyrics again are crazy that come to mind just by putting phrases together, but wow these came out really funny, the song I never thought would exist let alone that I would like it 😂 It has a lot of Colombian cumbia influence.
Amé esta canción desde que la escuché y el video me pareció muy divertido donde al fin se muestra como papá de su bebé Índigo. La letra nuevamente es una locura que le vienen a la mente solo por unir frases, pero vaya que estas le salieron muy graciosas, la canción que jamás pensé que existiría y menos que me gustaría 😂 Tiene mucha influencia de la cumbia colombiana.
If you want to listen to happy music, that transmits good vibes, to travel in your car, clean your house or hang out at the beach then this album is for you, because I think it was recorded with the simple motive of making people have a good time. You won't find great ballads that will give you life lessons and go down in human history, but in this artist you will find a lot of fun, a very original image and a very admirable love and respect for family. A guy who has even endeared himself to us musicians, but make no mistake, Camilo is very, very talented too, just like any pop artist today he is dedicated to selling hits.... Si quieren escuchar música alegre, que transmite buena vibra, para viajar en tu carro, limpiar tu casa o pasar el rato en la playa entonces este disco es para ti, porque creo que se grabó con el simple motivo de hacer que la gente la pase bien. No encontrarás grandes baladas que te den lecciones de vida y pasen a la historia de la humanidad, pero en este artista encontrarás mucha diversión, una imagen muy original y un amor y respeto por la familia muy admirable. Un chico que se ha hecho querer hasta por nosotros los músicos, pero no se equivoquen, Camilo es muy, muy talentoso también, solo que como cualquier artista pop actual está dedicado a vender éxitos... Para mí está bien, hoy me despido con un cover que hice de mi canción favorita de su segundo disco para el Hive Open Mic, Vida de Rico.
