Todos Venimos de la misma Colmena

Nunca había tenido un año donde me apartara tanto de mi ciudad natal y de mi familia, y es que 2024 ha venido intenso, con mucho trabajo y varias metas que estaban destinadas a cumplirse en esta época. Tengo un mes de vacaciones y hasta ahora es que puedo pasar un rato ameno en la casa donde crecí. El calor está extremo, o quizás yo lo siento así porque vengo de una ciudad mas fresca, pero vale la pena salir un rato a compartir con personas valiosas, y es lo que me ocurrió llegando, tuve el placer de disfrutar de un rico café y la agradable compañía de @equipodelta.

I have never had a year where I have been so far away from my hometown and my family, and 2024 has been intense, with a lot of work and several goals that were destined to be fulfilled at this time. I have a month of vacation and so far I am able to spend a pleasant time in the house where I grew up. The heat is extreme, or maybe I feel that way because I come from a cooler city, but it is worth going out for a while to share with valuable people, and that is what happened to me arriving, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious coffee and the pleasant company of @equipodelta.

¿Por qué elegí esta comunidad para hablar de este encuentro?. Bueno, es que por medio de Hive la conocí cuando fuimos parte del mismo equipo, en el proyecto La Colmena. No hablaba mucho con ella más que por trabajo, pero comencé a visitar su blog, especialmente sus dibujos digitales y comencé a conocerla sin decir mucho, sus creaciones contaban una historia por sí solas y comencé a entender su mundo, el mundo de alguien entonces desconocido para mí, pero que con el tiempo se fue convirtiendo en cariño, como me pasa con la mayoría de las personas detrás del usuario.

Why did I choose this community to talk about this meeting? Well, I met her through Hive when we were part of the same team, in the project La Colmena. I didn't talk much with her other than for work, but I started to visit her blog, especially her digital drawings and I began to know her without saying much, her creations told a story by themselves and I began to understand her world, the world of someone then unknown to me, but that over time became affection, as it happens to me with most of the people behind the user.

Mi chica @jhoxiris también nos acompañó, ella jugaría un papel fundamental en este encuentro, ya que la idea era encontrarnos con más personas de la comunidad como @irvinc, @damarysvibra y @yolimarag, que según las buenas lenguas son expertos en pool, como mi esposa 😅 pero no pierdo la fe de que este encuentro pueda ocurrir en algún momento. Mi esposa siempre ha estado presente en cada pequeño meeting, y aunque tiene tiempo sin publicar no podemos olvidar que también es Hiver y tuvo una era muy activa donde se hizo de varias amistades.

My girl @jhoxiris also accompanied us, she would play a fundamental role in this meeting, since the idea was to meet more people from the community like @irvinc, @damarysvibra and @yolimarag, who according to the good tongues are pool experts, like my wife 😅 but I do not lose faith that this meeting could happen at some point. My wife has always been present in every little meeting, and although she has time without posting we can't forget that she is also Hiver and had a very active era where she made several friendships.

Isa es una persona muy interesante, tiene muchas historias que contar y muchas de ellas son lecciones de vida para mí. Ambos vivimos tiempos difíciles casi ala vez y fuimos testigos de la sanación del otro, aquí mismo por medio de Hive. Nunca podemos sacar conclusiones sobre alguien hasta que no lo conocemos realmente, además de que no es sano, así que al igual que todas las personas maravillosas que me he atrevido a conocer más allá de las pantallas, me fui a nuestro encuentro con la mejor de las expectativas, y cuando triunfa la camaradería sentimos que estamos hablando con personas que tenemos años conociendo. No sé si algunos lo recuerdan, pero de la nada, hace unos meses en el Hive Open Mic estábamos regalando serenatas virtuales, y yo le dediqué una canción a Isa, como si fuera mi pana de toda la vida o una pretendiente 😅 simplemente sus palabras escritas y su arte me inspiraron a hacerle este pequeño tributo. Lo voy a compartir una vez más como recuerdo y con el me despido. Eres una persona especial Isa, me alegra haberte conocido en persona y al igual que con otros amigos de Hive, queda la promesa de seguirnos encontrando.

Isa is a very interesting person, she has many stories to tell and many of them are life lessons for me. We both lived through difficult times almost at the same time and witnessed each other's healing, right here through Hive. We can never jump to conclusions about someone until we really know them, plus it's not healthy, so like all the wonderful people I have dared to meet beyond the screens, I went into our meeting with the best of expectations, and when camaraderie triumphs we feel like we are talking to people we have known for years. I don't know if some of you remember, but out of the blue, a few months ago at the Hive Open Mic we were giving away virtual serenades, and I dedicated a song to Isa, as if she was my lifelong pana or a suitor 😅 simply her written words and her art inspired me to do this little tribute to her. I'm going to share it once again as a souvenir and with it I say goodbye. You are a special person Isa, I'm glad to have met you in person and as with other Hive friends, there remains the promise to keep on meeting.
