Spending a day in front of the sea is a luxury for me, for some reason it has been like that since my childhood even though I was born in a privileged place with the best beaches in my country. Maybe nowadays it's because my parents didn't have that restlessness to visit the coasts several times a year and I never got used to do it, or it could also be my overwhelming but pleasant musical routine, since we rehearse all week and weekends are set aside for the concerts of those rehearsals, I don't know.... I just know that a single day in front of the sea is a luxury.
Pasar un día frente al mar es todo un lujo para mí, por alguna razón ha sido así desde mi infancia aunque nací en un lugar privilegiado con las mejores playas de mi país. Quizás hoy en día sea porque mis padres no tenían esa inquietud por visitar las costas varias veces al año y nunca me acostumbré a hacerlo, o también podría ser mi agobiante pero placentera rutina musical, ya que ensayamos toda la semana y los fines de semana están apartados para los conciertos de esos ensayos, no lo sé... Solo sé que un solo día frente al mar es un lujo.
My beach days are not usually totally sunny, for some reason the sky always gets cloudy and it rains for a while, so when the day is at its best I get out of the sea, walk away from my group and just sit and admire the reflection of the sky in the sea. The intense blue and the clouds lying on the horizon will always be a great pleasure for me and the water on the beach takes its color and lends itself to the best pictures, even though there are people in these photos, I don't mind capturing their happiness, because that's what you breathe there. I'm not very good at taking panoramic pictures, they never come out, and maybe this one I show you below didn't come out well either, but it's the best one I've ever had in my life, it must be because I felt really relaxed and in connection with nature...
Mis días de playa no suelen ser totalmente soleados, por alguna razón siempre se nubla el cielo y llueve un rato, así que cuando el día está en su mejor momento salgo del mar, me alejo de mi grupo y simplemente me siento a admirar el reflejo del cielo en el mar. El azul intenso y las nubes acostadas en el horizonte siempre serán un gran placer para mí y el agua de la playa toma su color y se presta para las mejores fotografías, a pesar de que hay personas en estas fotos, no me molesta capturar su felicidad, porque es lo que se respira ahí. No soy muy bueno tomando fotografías panorámicas, nunca me salen, y quizás esta que les muestro aquí abajo tampoco me salió bien, pero es la mejor que me ha quedado en toda mi vida, ha de ser porque me sentía realmente relajado y en conexión con la naturaleza...
I think it is not only about contemplating the sea, there are places that have more magic than others. This beach is well known, not only in Venezuela, but in the world, it is Cata Bay, a true tropical paradise that is usually the favorite of many around here. My pictures are not professional, I took them with my Tecno Pova II, but I hope they can share with you a little of the essence of the natural beauty of Aragua in Venezuela. Creo que no se trata solo de contemplar el mar, hay lugares que tienen más magia que otros. Esta playa es muy conocida, no solo en Venezuela, sino en el mundo, es la Bahía de Cata, un verdadero paraíso tropical que suele ser la favorita de muchos por acá. Mis fotografías no son profesionales, las tomé con mi Tecno Pova II, pero espero puedan compartirles un poco de la esencia de la belleza natural de Aragua en Venezuela. ¡Feliz inicio de semana para todos!.
