Brothers and sisters of Hive Open Mic, welcome back to my blog! You know that things have been very busy at home and it has been very difficult to record my videos, but I have never stopped being aware of everything that happens in the community. In fact today I share with you this project that I literally had months preparing with two friends from other lands. It gives me great joy to finally have it ready for this week "Trust", chosen by my dear @ruthlopez, to whom I send a greeting, blessing and a hug full of God's love.

Regarding the theme and the song, I think I have a perfect hymn for the occasion, and it is a song by my favorite musical artist since childhood, the Colombian Shakira. In 2010 it was released to promote the FIFA World Cup and its verses have been some of the best lyrics that have accompanied this event. It's called Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) and to perform this cover I invited my brother @mayorkeys to accompany me on the keyboard and my sister @benii to sing the verses in English.

The Spanish version has a phrase that says: "The only joust of battles is about to begin".... This is a beauty. This is how the world should be. I wish with all my heart that the confrontations are only healthy sports and artistic competitions. I loved that Shakira gave so much importance to the beautiful African continent and its people with this global hit song. And I thank with all my heart Benita and Ogungbuyi for joining me in this video that took us so long to finish.

To finish this project I used my Tecno Pova II and the programs Audacity, Shocut and PhotoDirector for editing. I think I have about three months or more waiting to finish it and yet yesterday when I recorded my part I forgot to say the number of the week, I hope you excuse me, I was dying of emotion because it was the last thing that was missing 🤣 A thousand thanks to all of you who visit and support my work in Hive Blog, now that I appear less due to my occupations, I value more the time I dedicate to this. ¡Hermanos y hermanas de Hive Open Mic, bienvenidos nuevamente a mi blog!. Ya saben que las cosas han estado muy movidas en casa y ha sido muy difícil grabar mis videos, pero jamás he dejado de estar al tanto de todo lo que ocurre en la comunidad. De hecho hoy les comparto este proyecto que literalmente tenía meses preparando junto a dos amigos de otras tierras. Me da mucha alegría tenerlo listo al fin para esta semana "Trust", elegida por mi querida @ruthlopez, a quien envío un saludo, la bendición y un abrazo cargado del amor de Dios.

Respecto a la temática y la canción, creo que tengo un himno perfecto para la ocasión, y es un canto de mi artista musical favorito desde la infancia, la colombiana Shakira. En el año 2010 fue publicado para promocionar la FIFA World Cup y sus estrofas han sido de las mejores letras que ha acompañado a este evento. Se titula Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) y para llevar a cabo este cover invité a mi hermano @mayorkeys para que me acompañe en el teclado y a mi hermana @benii para cantar las estrofas en inglés.

La versión en español tiene una frase que dice: "Va comenzar la única justa de las batallas"... Esto es una belleza. Así debería ser el mundo. Deseo con todo mi corazón que los enfrentamientos sean solo competencias sanas deportivas y artísticas. Amé que Shakira le diera tanta importancia al hermoso continente africano y a su gente con esta canción de éxito global. Y agradezco con todo mi corazón a Benita y Ogungbuyi por acompañarme en este video que nos ha costado tanto terminar.

Para terminar este proyecto usé mi Tecno Pova II y los programas Audacity, Shocut y PhotoDirector para la edición. Creo que tengo como tres meses o más esperando poder culminarlo y aún así ayer cuando grabé mi parte olvidé decir el número de la semana, espero me disculpen, moría de emoción porque ya era lo último que faltaba 😅 Mil gracias a todos los que visitan y apoyan mi trabajo en Hive Blog, ahora que aparezco menos debido a mis ocupaciones, valoro más el tiempo que dedico a esto.
