A Walk through Sabaneta in Medellín [Eng-Esp]

Colombia is a beautiful country, not only for its natural beauty, but also for the beauty of the different cities. I got to live it and enjoy it, just going for a walk generated a lot of peace and fun, in addition to the visual appeal. In the metropolitan area of Medellin, there is a small town called Sabaneta, and it was our home during the six days of our work and tourism trip at the same time.

Colombia es un país hermoso, y no solo por sus bellezas naturales, sino también por la belleza de las distintas ciudades. Me tocó vivirlo y disfrutarlo, solo salir a caminar nos generó mucha paz y diversión, además del atractivo visual. En el área metropolitana de Medellín, se encuentra un pequeño municipio llamado Sabaneta, y fue nuestro hogar durante los seis días que duró nuestro viaje de trabajo y turismo a la vez.

Sabaneta is a beautiful place, recommended by my great friend @fernanblog, who was our neighbor for a few days, a dream come true. As you can see in the pictures, the place is beautiful and the weather is nice. The streets are very clean and full of planters and many flowers. This walk was taken by the usual trilogy, @kimberlycmq, @jhoxiris and me, and we were taking pictures at every corner. It was just an outing to get to know the surroundings, but our photo sessions were long days.

Sabaneta es un lugar hermoso, recomendado por mi gran amigo @fernanblog, que fue nuestro vecino por unos días, un sueño hecho realidad. Como pueden apreciar en las fotografías, el lugar es hermoso y el clima agradable. Las calles están muy limpias y llenas de jardineras y muchas flores. Este paseo lo dimos la trilogía de siempre, @kimberlycmq, @jhoxiris y yo, y nos íbamos tomando fotos en cada esquina. Solo fue una salida para conocer los alrededores, pero nuestras sesiones de fotos eran largas jornadas.

Going for a walk alone is one of the best experiences to calm my mind and generate wonderful ideas. Walking with my wife makes everything around us more beautiful and the walks longer and more transcendental. Walking together with our friend Kimberly is another level of higher adventure, and we enjoy every detail, it's inevitable because she walks very slow 😅 but we dare to do things that we usually shy away from my girl and ya, since we feel supported by the gang.

Salir a caminar solo es una de las mejores experiencias para calmar mi mente y generar ideas maravillosas. Caminar junto a mi esposa hace que todo lo que nos rodea sea más hermoso y los paseos sean más largos y trascendentales. Caminar junto a nuestra amiga Kimberly es otro nivel de aventura superior, y disfrutamos de cada detalle, es inevitable porque ella camina muy lento 😅 pero nos atrevemos a hacer cosas que generalmente nos cohibimos mi chica y ya, ya que nos sentimos apoyados por la pandilla.

This part of the city was full of buildings and most of them were brick colored, really beautiful in contrast with the green of the bushes and the blue of the sky. It was Sunday, and the streets were quite clear and perfect to be walked by the three of us. It was the middle of the day, but it was not hot, the trees and the shadows made us feel at peace and looking forward to see what surprise was around the corner.

Esta parte de la ciudad estaba llena de edificios y la mayoría de ellos eran color ladrillo, realmente hermoso en contraste con el verde de los arbustos y el azul del cielo. Era día Domingo, y las calles estaban bastante despejadas y perfectas para ser caminadas por nosotros tres. Era pleno medio día, pero no se sentía el calor, los árboles y las sombras nos hicieron sentir en paz y con la expectativa de ver qué sorpresa había a la vuelta de la esquina.

I never get tired of taking walks, and it is becoming a habit for me to invite my family and friends. In Colombia we did several walks, I already shared with you one of them in downtown Medellin and now I share with you this new chapter in the attractive Sabaneta; what I can certify is that each place feels different and some are more motivating than others, this has been a great place, a cool climate is vital to have a good time.

Nunca me canso de dar paseos, y se está haciendo costumbre para mí invitar a mi familia y amigos. En Colombia hicimos varias caminatas, ya les compartí una de ellas en el centro de Medellín y ahora les comparto este nuevo capitulo en la atractiva Sabaneta; lo que sí puedo certificar es que cada lugar se siente distinto y algunos motivan más que otros, este ha sido un gran lugar, un clima fresco es vital para pasarla bien.

We needed this walk, in fact it was my idea, because the day before the girls participated in a contest and when they gave the results they were not chosen to move on to the next final level. In fact while we were walking the final competition was taking place, so I invited them to go out and it served to distract and de-stress us because it really was a bit of a bitter night. Once again it is confirmed that hiking is the best option to heal the body and soul...

Esta caminata la necesitábamos, de hecho fue mi idea, ya que el día anterior las chicas participaron en un concurso y cuando dieron los resultados no fueron elegidas para pasar al siguiente nivel final. De hecho mientras caminábamos se estaba llevando a cabo la competencia final, así que las invité a salir y sirvió para distraernos y desestresarnos porque realmente fue una noche un poco amarga. Nuevamente queda confirmado que las caminatas son la mejor opción para sanar el cuerpo y el alma...
