WORK TABLE

Lo primero que hacemos es crear nuestra mesa de trabajo, clip en archivo, nuevo, le colocamos el nombre que queramos y las dimensiones que queramos, por lo general yo elijo a medida archivos de 560px X 560px (px significan pixeles) y le damos ok..

Listo ya generamos nuestra mesa de trabajo, ahora necesitamos la imagen, la foto o el dibujo que queramos ilustrar, vamos a archivo-colocar nos dirigirá a nuestros archivos en el equipo y buscamos la foto de nuestra preferencia, en mi caso fue un dibujo que realice hace unos años de los minion y quise tomarlo como ejemplo en esta ocasión para mostrarle como yo hago las ilustraciones.

Luego ya colocamos nuestra imagen, si es más grande que nuestra mesa de trabajo le reducimos el tamaño presionando la tecla shis para que la imagen no pierda su forma.
In the layers window we give double clip on the layer of the image we will get a window in which we can name the layer (I place base, you can place the name you want) we give clip to the template option and in dimm screen we place a percentage allow us to see the image and also what we are going to do on it usually I use 50%, but there are images that require less opacity like others of much more and we give it ok.
En la ventana capas damos doble clip sobre la capa de la imagen nos saldrá una ventana en la cual podemos nombrar la capa (yo le coloco base, tú le puedes colocar el nombre que desees) le damos clip a la opción de plantilla y en atenuar pantalla le colocamos un porcentaje nos permita ver la imagen y también lo que vamos a hacer sobre ella por lo general yo utilizo 50%, pero hay imagen que requieren menos opacidad como otras de mucho más y le damos ok.

Verás que la capa sale con un cantadito para así evitar que al momento de ilustrar deformemos o movamos la imagen.
STROKES
TRAZOS
After this we create a new layer which we will call paths, as the name says here we will make all our traces of the entire image.
Luego de esto creamos una nueva capa la cual llamaremos trazados, como el nombre lo dice aquí haremos todos nuestros trazados de toda la imagen.
Once our layer is generated, we start with the strokes, we can do them with the pen tool or with the brush tool, in this case I will use the pen tool.
Ya generada nuestra capa comenzamos con los trazos, los podemos hacer con la herramienta pluma o con la herramienta pincel, en este caso utilizaré la herramienta pluma.
Tracing with the pen is in my experience much more comfortable than with the brush,
But the brush gives us much better finishes, aesthetically because we have a stroke with very stylized effects and pointed finishes.
Trazar con la pluma es en mi experiencia mucho más cómodo que con el pincel,
Pero el pincel nos brinda acabados mucho mejores, estéticamente porque nos queda un trazo con efectos y acabados en punta muy estilizados.

There are two ways to color, one fast and one slow using the pen tool, I recommend the slow one because it also helps us to practice with the pen and have much more mastery with the tool.
Hay dos formas de colorear, una rápida y una lenta usando la herramienta pluma, recomiendo la lenta porque nos ayuda también a practicar con la pluma y tener mucho más dominio con la herramienta.
We create a new layer, change the name to color and place it under the layer of strokes so that in that case everything is behind the strokes.
We select the color that we want to place to our illustration and with the pen tool we are going to color giving clip on the stroke, since we have the strokes above everything will be visually excellent.
Creamos nueva capa, cambiamos el nombre a color y la colocamos debajo de la capa de trazos para que en ese caso todo nos quede detrás de los trazos.
Seleccionamos el color que queramos colocarle a nuestra ilustración y con la herramienta pluma vamos a colorear dando clip sobre el trazo, ya que tenemos los trazos por encima todo quedara visualmente excelente.

Then we continue with the shadows and lights.
Y así lo haremos con todas las partes de nuestra ilustración. Hasta lograr colorear todo.

We create a new layer we change the name to shadows, we fix it above the color and below the stroke and looking at our base colors we will take out our shadows. With the drop count tool we will give clip on the base color, then we give double clip in lower left box where it shows us our base color and we look for a darker tone referring to the base and we begin to make our shadows the same with our pen tool.
Creamos nueva capa cambiamos el nombre a sombras, la fijamos arriba del color y debajo del trazo y fijándonos en nuestros colores base vamos a sacar nuestras sombras. Con la herramienta cuenta gotas daremos clip sobre el color base, luego damos doble clip en recuadro inferior izquierdo donde nos muestra nuestro color base y buscamos un tono más oscuro referente a la base y comenzamos a hacer nuestras sombras iguales con nuestra herramienta pluma.
Then we will do the same with the lights, but instead of a dark color, a lighter color at the base or simply use white and lowering the opacity we manage to obtain a quite pleasant color of lights.
Luego haremos lo mismo con las luces, pero en vez de un color oscuro, un color más claro a la base o simplemente utilizamos el blanco y bajando la opacidad logramos obtener un color de luces bastante placentero.
In order not to leave the background white we make a very simple background creating a layer and placing it under all the layers, we look for a color that we like and with the rectangle tool we make a box the size of our work meza and ready we have our illustration finished to share it in our networks.
Para no dejar el fondo el blanco hacemos un fondo muy sencillo creando una capa i situándola debajo de todas las capas, buscamos un color que nos guste y con la herramienta rectángula hacemos un cuadro del tamaño de nuestra meza de trabajo y listo ya tenemos nuestra ilustración finalizada para compartirla en nuestras redes.
