Hello dear friends on hive Open Mic Week 171, my name is jesus-son@jesus-son amd it is a pleasure to be with you all on this perculiar theme proposed by my dear friend merit.

The theme is one that affords each one of us rhe opportunity to make good resentations as it is an existencial issue in the society today and as such with lots of great songs to produce around it.

It is actually disheartening and discouraging to see two people loving each other at a time and at the other time, hating themselves so that they even go to the extent of obtaining a divorce, I.e for those who are married. This is one of the issues that make me detest married life. However, there are still some who are models and really inspire people to see the beauty of married life as ordained by our Lord.

Looking at the theme, I decided to do a theocentric interpretation. I see myself being separated from God any time I go astray like committing sins. na why I no wan follow woman again, hehe it therefore becomes pertinent that we work in line with the will of God so as to remain united with Him. I know say some pipl go say I too dey religious, lolz.

Following this understanding, I decided to do the cover of a song that is so dear to me. I knew this song since I was small and each time i sing it, I realise myself and make effort to be closer to God.

The song is one that seeks God to search me thoroughly so that if there is any evil way in my life, God should mend it and make it holy and a acceptable to Him. It is a prayerful song by a repentant sinner.

With this song I wish to draw closer to God and avoid everything that would separate me from God.

I am grateful for taking the pain to visit me and appreciate my work. Gracias.
