So me of all people love how Kickstarter functions and I have been on there for about 4-5 years now and I am not happy nor pissed off using it just in the middle overall. I like how its set up in the fact that if its popular it goes towards the front and gains traction but theres an issue with that since kickstarter doesnt filter through the projects before they are allowed on the platform those projects will slap 100$ in their campaign making it look popular then gain some people and then it continues. Along with that Kickstarter doesnt guarantee a product just an idea so if someone can flaw the popular system easily and get some suckers in they can swoop up the money and leave no questions asked. I messaged Kickstarter over a project 2 years dead and all they said was its not their problem and dont worry they are just no communicating it doesnt mean that the project is a scam/dead.
This is only a small amount here ^^^ that up and ran with the money those totals around one million dollars and the thing is with those being a scam Kickstarter still made over 50K from these. Could that be why they havnt changed anything because they are making money over dead projects?? I have no clue but this absurd and wrong Kickstarter has the info to provide for a lawsuit but they dont do anything and even write it in their rules to weasel out. Now while I hate everything Kickstarter is and what its rules are the community itself and what it has brought like 7 Days to Die
Has made me stick around but I have to do so much myself researching the people,questioning them constantly and if they dont reply I wont back etc. its not right nor should it be a thing but its my money to be put into these products. I just want Kickstarter to be transparent and hold these people accountable if they are taking the money.
