Well yes @yugadi, I've had cats most of my life, but for the last 20+ yrs the places I've lived wouldn't allow pets. I've had to get used to a brave new world with diseases and vaccinations that I'd never heard of.
I am not falling down that rabbit hole tho, I grew up IN THE WOODS, we had house cats (came and went as they pleased as long as one of us would let them in or out) and yard dogs, that only came inside in extreme weather or illness.
I love my pets, but I'm not gonna spend more on vet bills than I do on MY medical care
