My Neighbor's Bees

I was cutting grass in Claxton (my hometown) oh about 15 yrs ago, and out of the azalea's came a few Yella Jackets that were attracted to the heat of the engine and the CO2 in the exhaust (I was told this later)
I left the mower running, went to Ace and got two cans of hornet spray, came back (they were now literally swarming my lawnmower) and sprayed both cans. I followed them enough to see where their hole was.
Those were most definitely larger and FAR more aggressive than these dudes..

Another time I was cutting my cousin Charlotte's grass

(right behind 1st Methodist, it was my Uncle Candler Rogers' house)

There were no bushes, no trees,
I was in wide open space when suddenly things began hitting me.
I literally felt many BUMPS, before I realized they were bumble bees.
Only thing I can figure is that they were on the move and
I happened to be in their path (plus the CO2 exhaust)
I was stung multiple times in both incidences
