Yesterday was my 4 yr follow up on my Hip replacement at
Emory Ortho and Spine in Tucker Ga.

I was ready to opt out of the program (one more year of in clinic follow up, then on the ten year they would call me)
Every year they take xrays, and ask the same questions, and always tell me the same thing, that I am doing well and the images show nothing bad going on.
Problem is, that there has been something bad going on from the start.
So yesterday, I got a cortisone injection just below my hip joint
He jammed that needle all the way into the bone; I felt it and asked, and he said yes, he had to do that.
It felt better on the way home, stopped in at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and got a couple of new rugs
but by last night I was one hurting puppy and had to load up on pain meds, something I have been working on avoiding, but I HAD to get some sleep.
Today, I drove to the Atlanta VA Hospital for an (almost) walk in appointment, at the eye clinic.
I was called back, got my eyes scanned and dilated, them back to the waiting room.
After an hour trying to read my phone or watch TV, and the waiting room filling to over capacity, (no seats left open) I went to the desk to see how much longer it would be before they could SEE me.
"You have NINE Files ahead of you Mr Smith" so I said 'I have things I need to do with my life, I'm going home'
I stopped and got a burger, now I am Home again home again jiggety jig.
This morning before I left, His Majesty had somehow managed to get hold of a fully grown male Cardinal (red bird)
When I took it from Him, the bird had lost some feathers but was not struggling to get away.
I took it and put it on top of the metal shed
His Majesty was not amused with my actions
Eventually, He JUMPED up there, and of course the bird flew away
I'm pretty sure His Majesty had an early lunch though.
Now I'm home and have things I need to do, but I'm worn out and hurting again, so methinks it will be nap time for a while

OH! I gots me a hair cut from a real barber for a change
