It is normal for people to get angry, yes it is. The way we go about anger is very important. Each and everyone of us must learn how to control our temper.
I heard someone say, "when I am angry, all hell is loose and I won't rest until I destroy something, so please don't annoy me". What a statement.
Many people brag with their anger status as if anger is an achievement. Anger when not properly controlled can ruin relationships. It can also close current and future opportunities.
When you are angry, learn to watch what you say. Words you say can hurt or ruin relationships/opportunities. Your actions also are very important. Learn to be quiet and calm when someone offends you. This way, you will prevent yourself from ruining relationships and opportunities.
The solution to anger is walking away or keeping quiet without a reaction. Walking away doesn't necessarily mean standing up or leaving the presence of the person. It means controlling your emotions not to act or respond angrily.
Some instances might require that you just keep quiet. Some instances require to agree to everything even though you feel you are right. Some instances might require you to take a polite excuse.
If you practice this, you will be able to control anger, no matter how bad the situation might seem. It is a consciousness you must imbibe especially if you are someone who is known to have a hot temper. Always tell yourself to be calm and not respond to your current emotions, even if the person or people are so annoying.
Your actions not to exchange words, or fight, is what makes you the bigger person. So if you want to desist from anger, you've to make up your mind. You mustn't prove a point always. To fight anger, you need to learn to act ignorant most times even though you were insulted, spoken to roughly or underrated, just ignore as though it never happened.
Anger and bitterness will reduce your life span, so do everything you can to stay away from it. Just try it out and live your life to the fullest, in peace and without hassles.
Thanks for going through my blog. Cheers!!
