While at first glance to some of us, these might seem ridiculous or unnecessary or ineffective, I am loving how effective affirmations are at programming my subconscious mind to who I am. The more I go throughout the day chanting these affirmations the more absurdly good I find my life circumstances including today which has been yet another amazing day among a string of beautiful years in my life.
What seems to happen is our subconscious mind takes whatever programming we give it and makes it reality. When I say I am sad, I am scared, I am afraid, I am angry, I am hurt, I am sick, I am helpless, I have no choice, I am sorry, and anything else we then complain about appearing in our lives to produce these affirmations again, we are literally giving the Universe a sign that we want MORE proof of these definitions of ourselves. Many of us have programmed ourselves this way so deeply we simply assume this is the truth about us and we work really hard to prove the opposite to everyone else.
One of the most powerful questions we can ask is who am I? I read a story on Steem of this question ending years of depression for the writer and I am confirming this in my own experience. Today when I ask who am I the affirmations I sing in my head throughout the day above are a few of the answers. I am grateful for Wayne coming into my life via a collaboration with Eckhart Tolle as a part of the many books I read on Audible. I am building an incredible reading list I will share soon and for now find it helpful to just share whatever book I am on. The energy is very clear and since I started listening to this book I am imagining an amazing idea to share for Steem to add massive value and help thousands of us to most effectively collaborate here. I am imagining a world where every human being on this earth has the opportunity to simply show up here on Steem, participate, and earn enough money to have no need to do any kind of other work especially that which is not enjoyed and done out of necessity. I am imagining this every day and FEELING my joy in knowing this fact already. The price changes and the daily drama is irrelevant to this bigger vision because this IS MY REALITY today. All I need to do is show up here and I am certain that with this as my reality, all of us that are also interested in the same are experiencing the attraction to to join us.
