My Thoughts About Advertisement:

Give People a Choice on whether they want to Monetize their content or not.
Share the Revenue with those who allow the monetization on their content once the system is up and working well.
Go out to Local Companies and ask if they would be interested in advertising on the Blockchain.
Help and Have the Local Business "OnBoard" to the "Blockchain" so they have a profile to advertise their store and product.
Have them pay (If they can) for their ads in #steem. Give them this option and give them a little better advertisement if they do choose to pay with #steem.

This will build the number of people that the Blockchain Onboard's. This will build the traffic statistics that the Blockchain has. This will build Awareness for the #steem Powered Blockchain. This will inspire people to engage and create content more. It would be a "Win-Win" for everyone on the Blockchain.
