Let's hope this video is Playable.
Hello Steemians and Dtubians,
Not sure what happened but I remade or remastered this video because I couldn't get the other one to play on @dtube for some reason. I hope this one works better. I am sorry if all of you weren't able to watch the first one. We will see how this one goes. Getting ready for the 4th of July and we will be "Blowing Up" the neighborhood. Keep reading below for my thoughts on "Being Present".
From Yesterday:
Today was another day at the “Lines of Inventory” and all hands were on deck, well, so we thought. We had over 7,000 items to check into the system and make sure they were either in their designated area or try to find if they weren’t. A task that got everyone a bit nervous.
I, myself have been with the company a little over 3 months and all the others in my department less than that aside from 1 or 2. So, some of these items they are referring to have been flowing around the warehouse for longer than almost all of us have been there. Now we have to find other peoples mistakes or misplaced items which can be very difficult.
One, we don’t know anything about them really. Two, even if we did know them we wouldn’t know how to think like they do. Three, they could have made a mistake and sent it to the wrong department and then it just ran around the warehouse for awhile and now, we have to locate it somehow.
But, I do have a bit of an advantage because I do meditate at times and I know how to keep myself focused. The “Ancient Art of Zen” come to mind when I am trying to do things like this. And maybe “Nirvana” as well. There is an old Zen saying, “Chop Wood, Carry Water”. Basically, you can’t carry wood if your gathering water or you can’t do two things at the same time. So “Being Present” in the “Now” and “Stay Focused” on the task at hand. The art of “Zen” is to stay focused on one thing and “Nirvana” basically means to “Let Go”. The outcome of Nirvana is grand peace and living in bliss but, Nirvana means “Not to cling to” or “Not to hold on to”. In other words, the release of.
Being Present means to let everything else go from your mind and only think about what you can see in front of you. Extreme Focus. Now I have talked about this before in a few videos. We, as human beings, tend to live in the past and the future more often than not. We will be having a conversation with a friend let’s say, and the conversation begins to refer to things you two have done in the past and you think about making plans for a future event to do whatever it was in the near future. As you can see, you just went backward and forwards and everything that was going on around you has now been lost.
Contrary to what you may have been told or believe, human beings are not really capable of multitasking. What we as human beings are capable of thought is the management of a certain amount of serial tasks in rapid chronological sequence, or the art of managing a combination of automated projects with another task that is not so automated. Trying to do two things at the same time is like trying to drive a car and text at the same time. You end up driving like you’ve been drinking too much and wind up in an accident or near accident most of the time.
Living in the past can be bad. It can regenerate old hurtful feelings or return memories of things that went horribly wrong and potentially be very bad for us. Dreaming too much about the future or trying to anticipate what the future may bring us disappointment when things don’t go exactly as we had planned. So doing one thing at a time with all your passion and heart is a good way to stay extremely focused and complete things much quicker and more efficient.
This is a great practice, especially when you're in a serious relationship and your together or out and about. Relationships require a great deal of attention. We need to always be aware of things that are being said, Things that are being shown to us or hints of the important small things in life that will come up again (Usually in a Question Form) in the near future. This will make your relationship so much stronger and that Amazing Love that you share with each other will grow 10 times more with all this attention you have for each other.
Peace and Godspeed every. May everything you wish to achieve in life is successful and continue on for generations to come. Always love yourself because you deserve it because you are a miracle of life. And always remember to prosper in peace, happiness, and love first.
