Hello there…

Hi Steemit! My name is Jepper and I am here to share some of my interests as well as experiences mainly in the field of life sciences. Surely for many people science means something hard to understand, boring and not enjoyable at all. But I definitely disagree and want to share my “knowledge” in interesting and understandable manner.

More about myself. I am student of genetics from Slovakia, but am currently residing in Germany as an exchange student. As I will (hopefully) finish my Master's thesis this year, I am planning to pursue my PhD degree in life sciences- mainly with focus on biology or neurobiology. So, I hope that my somewhat scientific background as well as aspirations will give at least some creditability to what I plan on writing about. Nevertheless, I will gladly enjoy “scientific” debate and your insights as well as interests. Please comment, ask, tell what you would like to read about. My goal is to make science more available for everyone. Because in fact it really isn't that hard and it's fun.

This is first-time thing for me- never actually wrote something public, but I do enjoy sharing my passions with friends, so why not taking it on higher level. I will be writing mostly about biology and biology related stuff- coz that’s what I am (relatively) good at. But I do not guarantee that I won’t wander to some other topics. Many times, I think about possibilities of some technology of research so be prepared for some sci-fi mambo-jambo. I do enjoy superhero movies (#teamMARVEL), GoT, nature, crazy ideas and even anime (shame! shame! ding).

So, dear passengers, fasten your seatbelts and let’s embark on this journey through science aaand…stuff, yeah, really mostly just stuff. :D
