I will share my own photography and knowledge of this lovely Canna Lily also known as African arrowroot sometimes called Indian shoot sometimes its Sierra Leone arrowroot.This a lovely species of Cannaceae can be found on some parts of America like Florida,South Carolina.A native so much on South America.Can be also found in some parts of Europe,and Asia.
Canna indica have large green leaves and its used in some agriculture because of its rich source of starch good enough for animal and human use.
Good cultivation and 6-8 hours of sunlight will help Canna grows.It grows at least 2-3 meters in height or according to variety of cultivations.
Flowers usually in color of Red,Orange or yellow or maybe combinations of those colors and attracts bees,hummingbirds and bats and other pollinators for nectar and pollen.
