Dear Jen,
How are you right now? Are you fine? I know it's not. You're emotionally weak this time and suffering from pessimistic thinking. Your crying yesterday even no one is directly hurting you. Your crying because of your own negative thoughts. You want some comfort from a special person but you didn't receive any. Glad their is someone who thought about you and gave some comfort and a piece of advise.
I know almost every month you can feel so weak emotionally, might be it is because of the hormonal changes that happens in a woman's life. I noticed that you're like that when your period is coming. Sometimes you cannot understand yourself and don't know what to do. The most difficult part is that people around you also didn't understand what's going on with you.
Don't worry, sometimes it's okay not to be okay. It's okay to be bad in the eyes of others sometimes because you cannot pleased everyone. It's okay to cry, cry if you want, not because you are weak but because you are a soft hearted person. It's okay to say No because not all yes can be for your own good. It's okay to rest when you felt so tired.
I know your struggles, I know your weaknesses and I know your worries but above all I know how strong you are despite of those weaknesses. Give some time to relax, give some time to rest, give some time to enjoy life. Always remember that you have a great God greater than your problems. Don't forget you have a lovely family especially a son that never forget to ask mama, are you okay? and it melts your heart everytime he did it.
Life is full of ups and downs, sadness and happiness, it brings you tears and joy but always remember good times are always greater than bad times. There is always a rainbow after the rain and there is always a sunshine after a gloomy day. The storm will just pass and good things will about to happen. Tomorrow is another day. So, don't lock yourself in the four corners of the room. Go out and have some fun.
If they can't understand you, try to understand yourself. If they can't love you, love yourself. If they can't hug you, give some hug to yourself.
Always remember, I am here.
Love,
@jenthoughts
I felt better after writing and reading these words for myself. Indeed I really need these words that no one gave to me but myself. If you felt down, try to write those words you wanted to hear. Thank you sir @galenkp for this Weekend Engagement: week 146 initiative. Sometimes it is not just about writing but it is about the feeling.
Thank you so much for reading. I feel that someone is listening.
