​La belleza alienígena de la Huernia: Una joya botánica en mi jardín/The alien beauty of Huernia: A botanical jewel in my garden

Buenas tardes para los amantes de la naturaleza
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una de las joyas más curiosas q tengo en mi jardín . Se trata de esta hermosa planta q acaba de regalarme una floración simplemente espectacular .
​Lo que más me atrae de esta especie es el diseño casi alienígena de sus flores. Si las miras de cerca, parecen sacadas de otra galaxia: un patrón geométrico moteado en tonos borgoña y amarillos, con una textura aterciopelada y esa forma estrellada tan característica que nunca deja de sorprender a quien la visita.

A diferencia de otras plantas de floración llamativa, las de este género guardan un pequeño "secreto" relacionado con su polinización (atraen insectos polinizadores imitando aromas muy particulares), pero visualmente son una verdadera obra de arte de la naturaleza. ​Today I want to share with you one of the most curious jewels I have in my garden. It is this beautiful plant that has just blessed me with a simply spectacular bloom.
​What attracts me the most about this species is the almost alien design of its flowers. If you look at them closely, they seem straight out of another galaxy: a mottled geometric pattern in burgundy and yellow tones, with a velvety texture and that characteristic star shape that never ceases to amaze anyone who visits.

Unlike other plants with striking blooms, the ones from this genus hold a small "secret" related to their pollination (they attract pollinating insects by mimicking very particular aromas), but visually they are a true work of art of nature. Taking care of these wonders in the green corner of the garden is not easy at all, but seeing their buds makes up for all the time and attention I dedicated to them.
