We donate when we see poor people on the streets. There are many poor people in Bangladesh so we see them on the streets. Some may have no hands or legs some may be blind and unable to see and some may not be able to hear. They beg on the streets and we usually help these people by giving them some money. By some money I mean sometimes someone gives 10–100 taka and sometimes instead of giving money someone buys them food. Because beggars do not get enough food to eat and most of them live on the streets their lives are very difficult. I would say that there are some people who can work and earn for themselves. They have children and their hands and legs are fine but when they grow up they do not do any work. They also beg so for them it becomes kind of a business.

But that is not the main point. The main point is why do we donate? Most people donate because they think that if they do good things then their God will give them blessings if they help someone. I think that intention is wrong. I don't think we should help someone hoping that God will give us something in return. We should do something good for someone without expecting anything. But if there is no reason behind it then I don't think there is any benefit in donating. These become acts of showing off. I have even seen people upload videos of themselves donating on Facebook and they are earning money from those videos. Now earning money is not bad.

The bad thing is that they are playing with people's emotions. If they donate 1,000 taka they are getting paid 10,000 taka from Facebook. This is not my assumption this is the truth. Most of the time this is how it happens. That is why they make videos when they donate. But then again it would also be wrong to say that it is completely bad because if we cannot inspire someone then they may never think about donating. When does a person donate? When they see someone else doing it. Personally I don't think there are many people who have that kind of remorse or feeling that they should help another person.

Since my situation is good I should help another person get into a better situation but we don't do that. Because we think our blood relatives are our own family. If they are in a good situation then there is no need to look after anyone else who is not related to us by blood. But can this really be called humanity? The first sign of being human is having humanity within you meaning being a good person as a human being. And the role of a good person is to grow together with everyone rather than being alone or only living well with your own people.

We are eating traveling and doing everything we want every day but do we feel bad about these things? We don't. Because we are very selfish ourselves. We only care about our own interests. If we are doing well while another person is suffering it doesn't bother us. But my question is is blood everything?

কিন্তু ওইটা মেইন কথা না মেইন কথা হচ্ছে যে আমরা যে দান করি আমরা কেন করি? বেশিরভাগ মানুষ দান করে কারণ তারা মনে করে যদি তারা ভালো কাজ করে তাহলে তাদের গড তাদেরকে ব্লেসিংস দেবে যদি তারা কাউকে সাহায্য করে। আমার কাছে ভুল মনে হয় আই ইনটেনশন টা। আমার মনে হয় না যে গড আমাদের কিছু দেবে এই আশায় আমাদের কাউকে সাহায্য করা উচিত। আমাদের উচিত কোন আশা ছাড়া কারো জন্য ভালো কিছু করা কিন্তু যদি শিয়ে কারণ না থাকে তাহলে আমার মনে হয় নাই দান করে লাভ নাই। এগুলো হচ্ছে লোক দেখানো কাজ আমি এমনও দেখেছি ফেসবুকে মানুষ দান করার ভিডিও আপলোড করে এবং সেটা থেকে টাকায় কামাই করছে এখন টাকা কামাই করছে ওটা খারাপ না। খারাপ হচ্ছে তারা মানুষের ইমোশন নিয়ে খেলতেছে তারা যদি ১,০০০ টাকা দান করে তারা পেমেন্ট পাই হচ্ছে ১০,০০০ টাকা ফেসবুক থেকে এটা আমার ধারণা না এটাই সত্যি। বেশিরভাগ সময় এরকমই হয় তো তারা এজন্যই যখন দান করে তখন ভিডিও করে কিন্তু আবার এটাও বলা ভুল কারণ যদি আমরা কাউকে ইন্সপায়ার না করতে পারি তাহলে তো সে দান করার কথা ভাববে না। মানুষ দান করে কখন যখন অন্য কাউকে করতে দেখে নিজ থেকে আমার মনে হয় না এরকম কোন মানুষ আছে যাদের অনুশোচনা আছে যেন আমার একটা মানুষকে হেল্প করা উচিত।
আমার অবস্থা যেহেতু ভালো আমার উচিত আর একটা মানুষ কেউ সেই ব্যবস্থা করে দেওয়া কিন্তু আমরা কিন্তু তা করি না কারণ আমরা মনে করি যে আমাদের রক্তই আপন আমাদের পরিবারে আপন এরা যদি ভালো অবস্থানে থাকে তাহলে আর বাকি যারা আমাদের ব্লাড রিলেটেড না তাদের দেখাশোনা করার কোন দরকার নেই। কিন্তু তাহলে কি এটাকে হিউম্যানিটি বলা যায় আর মানুষের প্রথম লক্ষণ হচ্ছে তার মধ্যে হিউম্যানিটি থাকবে মানে সে মানুষ হিসেবে ভালো হবে আর একটা ভালো মানুষের রোল হচ্ছে সবাইকে নিয়ে বড় হওয়া নাকি একা ভালো থাকা বা নিজের আপনজন নিয়ে ভালো থাকা। এই যে আমরা প্রতিনিয়ত খাওয়া দাওয়া করছি ঘুরতেছি সবকিছু করতেছি কিন্তু আমাদেরকে খারাপ লাগে এসব বিষয় নিয়ে? লাগেনা কারণ আমরা নিজেরাই অনেক স্বার্থপর আমরা শুধু নিজেদের স্বার্থ দেখি। যদি আমরা ভালো থাকি আর একজন খারাপ থাকলেও আমাদের কোন সমস্যা হয় না। কিন্তু আমার প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে রক্তই কি সব? যাইহোক প্রশ্নটা তোমাদের কাছে থাকলো অবস্যই ভিন্ন মতামত থাকলে তোমরা অবশ্যই কমেন্ট সেকশনে জানাবা আমি জানতে চাই কার কি মতামত এ বিষয়ে। আর আমার ফ্যামিলির আর আমার জন্য দোয়া করবা সবাই।
