Indeed, blood donation doesn't only help those who'll receive the blood, but it also has benefits to those who gives out blood.

I used to be a regular donor and I already miss donating blood. I'm deferred for 2 years because I got anti-rabies shots last year which defers me for 1 year. And I've got tattoos last year, so I'm deferred for another year and will be good to donate next year.
