On October 1st, Bryan went to Valderrama to bring two special pigs, Miley and Michael, to our home. Miley came from Boiboi's family, and Michael came from Nang Romelen's family. We didn't know that this day would be the start of a memorable adventure.

Bryan borrowed a vehicle to transport the pigs, and we were excited about their arrival. We thought about the happiness they would bring to our home. But something unexpected happened. When Boiboi tried to tie up Miley, she got away and disappeared into the unknown.

It was a scary moment, and we thought we had lost Miley forever. We felt very worried and sad. Honestly, I gave up on her, in my heart and mind. Expectations can hurt a lot, you know.

Thankfully, our neighbors were kind and helped us search for her. Nong Bogie, one of our neighbors, found Miley while he was going to harvest rice. He brought some other people to help, so we gave them some money to thank them for their help. The reality is, that they negotiated with me if I was willing to pay for her.

The search for Miley lasted from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday morning. During those anxious hours, I thought about how life can be unpredictable. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we can't control everything. It's important to trust that what belongs to us will come back to us. It cost me money, I didn't just ask for it, I paid for it. It was an investment too.

Because I have faith in God, I saw a deeper meaning in this experience. It made me believe even more in God and taught me that life's challenges can be valuable lessons. This incident reminded me to be humble, and patient, and to have trust in the way life works.

Interestingly, our Sunday school had been talking about having strong, humble, and active faith. Through the challenges of looking for Miley, Boiboi, Bryan, and I realized that we had exactly that kind of faith and it is evident that we exercised it. It is strong enough that we came to the One who, not only do we know who'll help but He will surely help as we humble ourselves in prayer. We didn't just wait, we actively looked for her too, having faith we could find her. It was a heartwarming discovery that made us feel very grateful.

In the end, unexpected events like this can teach us important things. They remind us that God and life have their ways of working together, giving us wisdom and strength as we go through life's unpredictable and oftentimes, heartrending journey.
