On my last Safari into the Serengeti nation park I decided that all my images taken of lion would be in black and white.
As a photographer I find it hugely beneficial to have an image in mind or at least a theme of the end result before taking the image.
Yes some of the time amazing images are pure luck! but relying on luck is not going to get you images that have a special something.

the below image is of a first time mother who did not appreciate the company and let us know by uttering a shallow growl. we heeded the warning and left her in peace with her 4 cubs
I have spent Manny hours with this male and he is always willing to pose.
