Hello Steemit! Steemiteers. Steemitology. The Village Steemit. This is my first post, but I do not intend it to be pro forma. For the finite time you have to read and engage, some people may find some things useful to know about me.
It has been an ambitious, ideas-driven life here, but an unremarkable one. There is no reason worth anyone’s time or while to explore it. Maybe that has changed.
Because of grad skool, or in spite of it, my nearly singular focus in adult life has been one issue. A marvelous riddle. One that many cogent people know is wrong for a myriad of reasons, but, one for which no action is taken for a larger myriad of others. It is the income tax.
The fear; the ignorance; the Byzantine tax code; the Constitutional illiteracy; the missing national focus; the irritation; the 1400 IRS lawyers whose job is to impose any moral prostitution required to keep it that way. Addressing it all, properly, is perhaps the largest secret of unmeasured potential in the American fibre today. After many years of learning - getting it wrong, getting it right, then teaching (thrilled) family and friends, its time to open up a bit. An American society on the precipice of tyranny requires it.
Handling income taxation, properly, is more accessible than the government indoctrination widely practiced now. Everyone who files, with few exceptions, does so in ways provably incorrect. Provably dangerously. Provably expensive. Provably, there is a better way, a more accurate way, a safer way. I’ll find out if the Steemit community values a different perspective or not. One based in facts and fundamentals, not fear.
Yeah, I know what most people are thinking. What a sad thing to wrap life in! I'd probably agree if the fundamental nature of the principles involved had not become crystal clear. As it turns out, the importance of the subject animates purpose much more than "fun" things I've done before.
My grateful thanks to Steemit for the platform. My grateful thanks to you who have animated it. My thanks to you for giving a few minutes to a new member.
OK. Lets see if I figured this formatting thing out or not. It looks a little strange. And I couldn't quite figure out how to drop in some cool photos. Lets see what happens. Here goes!
