The resort where anything goes
A movie about a futuristic resort called "Vice" which offers customers the ability to live out all their fantasies, no matter what they are. This is achieved by using androids that look and behave like humans as much as possible. The way the androids are kept is check is to wipe their memories at the end of each day and repair any "damage" that has occurred to them.
Kelly is an android bartender who on this day is programmed to believe it is her last day on the job. She and her friend Melissa, also an android, are brutally killed by a customer. Only problem is that some of her previous memories aren't staying "wiped", she has flashes of other experiences and manages to escape.
A detective Roy Tedeschi whom has always had suspicions about Vice because he believes that people who use the service become desensitized to violence and rape, soon becomes aware of the crime and begins and investigation, he is of course ordered off the case. This partly due to the amount of money that the resort brings into the community.
Now the two are on their own, looking for proof of various crimes, all the while keeping Kelly out of the companies grasp where she would be analyzed, have her memory wiped or be destroyed. Also, without any proof Row would be arrested and at best charged for harassment against the company.
The movie is mainly a Hollywood action movies that does however have enough of a plot and a few twists to also keep you interest. I don't remember it being in the cinemas for long, but I wouldn't have been disappointed if I had paid to see it in the Cinema.
