I frequently Pollyanna because they brew some incredible beers, and it also helps that they are only a couple miles away from home. In honor of their 3rd anniversary, they released Party Penguin, a special release malt liquor.
Part of the packaging included a brown paper bag, stamped with the penguin logo. When you think craft beer, malt liquor probably doesn't come to mind. But there's something familiar about this beer. I feel like I should be drinking it in a loud basement at a frat party.
It was incredibly smooth, despite being 7.1% ABV. I could've easily had a few of these, but I learned my lesson in my college days!
