A pleasant day everyone . I started my wednesday by preparing my kids breakfast .They still have classes and today is the start of their final exams .I was in a hurry as I finish all my chores because I have to meet a friend of mine . By 7:30 a.m. I was ready to go , we agreed to meet at a fast food chain and we discuss a lot of things .
By midday , I was back at our store .My husband texted me to inform me that he took my mother in law to see a gastroenterologist , nothing serious , just a routine check -up . Unfortunately, the doctor has a lot of walk in patients and when I checked with my husband at around 3:40p.m. the doctor was diagnosing patient #22 while my mother in law was patient #29 .
I was starting to worry because I have to prepare dinner . And then, I remembered that the kids were home early to review for their exams tomorrow .So I dialed our phone number and true enough my 16y/o daughter CJ answered the phone, I told her my dilemma that I cant go home and she has to prepare our dinner .She readily asked me what to do . I told her to get the spareribs from the ref , clean it , put in a pan , add water , add slices of onions and boil it , add also a dash of salt n some slices of potatoes .
She needs to cooked our rice which is easier because she has been doing this chores. I just instructed her to cook 4 cups of rice
Afterwards , I also told her to make congee for her grandmother, its her first time to do it so I told her what to do and how to prepare it the way her grandma likes it
Im thankful everything was done accordingly I was able to rely on my daughter to be help me in my household chores ( Usually we have a househelp to do all this stuff but she was on vacation) so to be able to have my own daughter helped me was really a big relief.
At 6pm my husband fetched me and we went to the hospital to visit our Pastor's dad who was confined for dengue.
At 8pm , we arrived at the house and I was able to eat dinner and again grateful that all the dishes has been washed .
To others , these might be simple tasks but for a parent like me , seeing my kids being responsible and taking the initiative to help out makes me thankful to the Lord for giving me wonderful kids and grateful to have them help ease the burdens.馃槈
