Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. I love this topic because I'm a phone addict too. Letter has been a means of communication before the invention of phones. There were other means of communication among loved ones and friends, letter writing was a means of communication but the demerit was it takes time and only those that knows how to read and write are opportuned to send out letters, if you don't know how to read, you have to ask someone to read out the letter for you or ask someone to write for you.

The invention of phones makes it easy and fast to reach out to loved ones at the comfort of your home. As much as phones act as a companion to us, helping us to source information, get updates, communicate and help in business growth. Whenever my phone isn't with me, I feel a part of me has left and mostly I use that time to rest and work on other things. My phone has brought smiles on my face even at the worst moment. It makes money for me when nothing else is working and it's extremely hard to stay away from it and it's absolutely like a part of me now but there are uncompromised situations that keep me away from it for a while.

The uncompromised situation is having a low battery, as much as I try to avoid these it will surely come due to unavailability of power supply and high cost of petroleum
As much as I hate it when my phone dies and no power supply to charge it. I just have to rest and take some break. Most times it takes two days for me to charge it and it feels I have missed a lot just being away for a while. It seems like a part of me has gone and I am eager to source for power anywhere I could just to make sure my phone is on.

Reading has been a habit I cultivated at a young age. I feel fulfilled whenever I read. When I'm going for night class, I usually keep my phone behind or if it's close to me, I mute it for me to concentrate effectively and understand what I'm reading.

This is traumatizing for me, I can't carry my phone along for service, I see so many people do that and I try to wonder what is the essence of coming to church and pressing your phone throughout. I don't carry my phone to church activities, I'm not trying to be holy here, those few hours matter how long it will take for the service to end, it usually sits pretty at home and whenever I come back I move on to pressing it again. But I prefer keeping my phone as it has embarrassed me one certain time I mistakenly went to church with it and forgot to put it on silent and it rang when everywhere was quiet and people sitting where just giving me that look, I was so embarrassed as I searched my phone in my purse and completely offed it since that day it just stays at home while I go to church.

These days I try to stay away from my phone, it seems the days are so slow, I literally count seconds as my wrist watch becomes a piece of art to count seconds and I easily notice every slightest thing even a pin drop. I try to make peace whenever my phone is away but it's always boring for me.
