Open Corsa Auto Fest

This event also took place last Saturday, November 30. I arrived a little late, as I first attended the Healthy Gathering and then went to the other end of town. Transportation gets very complicated in my city when it gets late.

Este evento también tuvo lugar el pasado sábado 30 de noviembre. Llegué un poco tarde, ya que primero asistí al Encuentro Saludable y luego fui al otro extremo de la ciudad. El transporte se complica fuerte en mi ciudad cuando se hace tarde.

I arrived after seven in the evening and was alone for about an hour and a half, I took the opportunity to take pictures, but the light conditions were not in my favor. It was already dark and it was taking place on the second floor of the roofed parking lot of the Metropolis shopping center. Everything was very dark and my cell phone does not have a good camera.

The Corsa is very popular in my country, many people love this car and that's why there are many clubs that bring together those who own one of these cars, who also invest money in its maintenance and put accessories, tune them, especially with sound things.

Llegué pasadas las siete de la tarde y estuve solo cerca de hora y media, aproveché para hacer fotos, pero las condiciones de luz no me favorecían. Ya era de noche y estaba teniendo lugar en la segunda planta del aparcamiento techado del centro comercial Metrópolis. Todo estaba muy oscuro y mi móvil no tiene una buena cámara.

Los Corsa son muy populares en mi país, mucha gente ama este automovil y por eso hay muchos clubes que reúnen a quienes poseen uno de estos autos, que además invierten dinero en su mantenimiento y le ponen accesorios, los tunean, sobre todo con cosas de sonido.

The atmosphere was very lively, members of the various participating clubs wearing their Corsas. Wives, girlfriends or friends of theirs, enjoying the space and the music. Most of the men were watching the cars.

The event started at 11 a.m., but it is at nightfall when everything gets livelier. I had to leave around nine o'clock, but it was my understanding that the event ended at eleven o'clock at night.

El ambiente era muy animado, miembros de los distintos clubes participantes luciendo sus Corsas. Esposas, novias o amigas de ellos, disfrutando del espacio y de la música. La mayoría de los hombres estaban pendiente de los coches.

El evento comenzó a las 11 de la mañana, pero es al caer la noche cuando todo se anima más. Me tuve que retirar sobre las nueve, pero tenía entendido que el evento terminaba a las once de la noche.

Although I am not a car enthusiast, I enjoy these events. Perhaps seeing the excitement of others with their cars and taking pictures, I like to record as many images as possible at these types of activities.

By the time I arrived there were quite a few people wanting to take pictures with the cars on display.

Aunque no soy un entusiasta del automóvil, disfruto con estos eventos. Tal vez viendo la emoción de los demás con sus coches y haciendo fotos, me gusta grabar tantas imágenes como sea posible en este tipo de actividades.

En el momento en que llegué había bastantes personas que querían hacerse fotos con los coches expuestos.

There were many corsa clubs, I counted approximately more than 10, each one with its name, I could not write them all down, I felt a little tired and the low light bothered me, I wanted to take better pictures. The few I selected I hope you can see them well.

Maintaining vehicles is expensive, and in a country with economic crisis is more expensive, so I congratulate those motor enthusiasts who make a great effort to have them and add things to their vehicle. Some of them win prizes in competitions they organize. The Corsa Clubs are quite organized, there is one that groups all the clubs in the country and each state has its own club made up of other clubs that operate in each city.

Había muchos clubs de corsa, conté aproximadamente más de 10, cada uno con su nombre, no pude apuntarlos todos, me sentía un poco cansado y la poca luz me molestaba, quería hacer mejores fotos. Las pocas que seleccioné espero que se puedan ver bien.

Mantener los vehículos es algo caro, y en un país con crisis económica es mayor, por eso felicito a aquellos aficionados al motor que hacen un gran esfuerzo por tenerlos e ir añadiendo cosas a su vehículo. Algunos de ellos ganan premios en concursos que organizan. Los Clubes Corsa están bastante organizados, hay uno que agrupa a todos los del país y cada estado tiene su propio club conformado por otros clubes que funcionan en cada ciudad.
