Hi there, internet friends! How are you doing? Today, I want to take you along to a shop I recently discovered in my city—a true paradise for K-pop fans. But first, let me give you a little background so you can understand my excitement; it’s not just about finding a store that sells the things I’ve always dreamed of. You see, for a while now, I’ve been thinking about organizing a K-pop event (since it’s very common for fan clubs or fans in general to get together for activities centered around their "bias"). In my case, I’m planning an event to celebrate the birthday of Christopher Bang the leader of my favorite band, Stray Kids—who is better known among us fans as BangChan. I plan to invite twenty fans (since spots are limited for my first event), and I’ve been busy making the necessary preparations; for instance, I went to get some designs printed that I created for coasters, stickers, and little things like that.
¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero llevarlos conmigo a una tienda que recientemente descubrí en mi ciudad y que es todo un paraíso para los Kpopers (amantes de la música KPop) pero antes les voy a dar un poco de contexto para que puedan entender mi emoción ya que no solo estoy feliz por haber encontrado una tienda que vende lo que siempre soñé. El caso es que desde hace un tiempo para acá en mi mente surgió la idea de llevar a cabo un evento Kpop (ya que es muy común que los clubs de fans o las fans en general se unan para realizar actividades en torno a sus Bias) Bueno, en mi caso estoy organizando un evento que sirva para celebrar el cumpleaños de Cristopher Bang, el líder de mi banda favorita StrayKids, él es mejor conocido entre nosotras como Bangchan, para el evento tengo planeado invitar a veinte fans (ya que por ser mi primer evento tengo cupos limitados) y para eso he estado haciendo algunas diligencias, por ejemplo en primer lugar fui a imprimir algunos diseños que realicé para portavasos, stickers y cositas así.
K-pop fans will understand why I was—and still am—so excited; they have everything there, from character keychains and large versions of SkZoo (cute plush avatars of the band members) to plenty of photocards—cards featuring images of the band members that I know will be perfect for my event. I bought some to use in the gift kits I plan to hand out to the guests that day.
Las que sean fan del KPop entenderán porque yo estaba y aún estoy tan emocionada, allí hay de todo, desde llaveros de los personajes, versiones grandes de los SkZoo (avatars tiernos de peluche de los miembros de la banda) y también hay muchas foto cards, osea muchas tarjetas con imágenes de los miembros de la banda las cuáles sé que serán muy útiles para mi evento, compré algunas que me servirán para los kits de regalo que pienso repartir para las invitadas ese día.
They sell all sorts of things at that store—not just K-pop merchandise, but also makeup and even hair care products—but I was there for a specific reason, hehe, so I stayed focused. I also picked out a card holder; as you might guess, these are for collecting photocards, allowing a fan to keep their photos organized.
Venden de todo en esa tienda, no solo productos de KPop sino también maquillaje y hasta productos de peluquería, pero yo estaba allí por una razón, jeje, así que me concentré. También me puse a elegir un porta tarjetas que como pueden intuir son para coleccionar las imágenes de las foto cards, de esta manera una fan puede tener sus fotos de una manera más organizada.
Just look at all the beautiful things they have there—it’s packed with spectacular souvenirs 😆. They also carry Funko Pops, those popular lightsticks (widely used at K-pop concerts), and, of course, the band's albums; best of all, they’re authentic products.
Miren nada más la cantidad de cosas hermosas que tienen allí, está lleno de souvenirs espectaculares 😆, además también tienen Funko Pop, los populares lightsticks (que se usan mucho en los conciertos de bandas KPop) y desde luego los discos de la banda, lo mejor de todo es que son productos originales.
I finally bought a pack of photocards, two small Wolfchan keychains (the SKZOO version of the leader), and a large keychain featuring a plush version of Wolfchan; these are items I’m going to raffle off among the event guests—except for the small keychains, which will go into the gift kits. However, since I was still short by 18 of them, I had to order the rest online and need to go pick them up at the store sometime this week.
Finalmente compré un paquete de foto cards, dos llaveros pequeños de Wolfchan (la versión Skzoo del líder) y un llavero grande con una versión de Wolfchang de peluche, son cosas que voy a rifar entre las invitadas al evento, menos los llaveros pequeños, esos irán dentro del kit de regalo, pero como aún me faltaban 18 de ellos, tuve que pedir los demás vía online y tengo que ir a retirarlos en la tienda en el trascurso de esta semana.
