For about five years now, the Little League Godmother pageant for the Lara Cardinals has been held. The original pageant, the Cardinals Godmother pageant, is 25 years old, and this new pageant arose from the need to also provide support to the team's youth leagues in Lara state.
This pageant is also organized by Angelo Bertel, a renowned figure with over 30 years of experience in the modeling world, and Miguel Angel Fuentes, who have been working together for quite some time.
Desde hace aproximadamente cinco años, se celebra el certamen de Madrinas de la Liga Infantil de los Cardenales de Lara. El certamen original, el de Madrinas de los Cardenales, tiene 25 años de historia, y este nuevo certamen surgió de la necesidad de brindar apoyo también a las ligas juveniles del equipo en el estado de Lara.
Este certamen es organizado por Angelo Bertel, una figura reconocida con más de 30 años de experiencia en el mundo del modelaje, y Miguel Ángel Fuentes, quienes trabajan juntos desde hace tiempo.
The new edition has begun, and for that reason, a call was made for an in-person casting call. All girls and teenagers who accepted were invited to attend with their legal guardians at the Lidotel last weekend. The Lidotel is one of the sponsors of this pageant and provides its halls and facilities for both the castings and the model training classes.
The mothers and fathers attended with the girls. After being granted access to the hall, they were given a form to fill out meticulously. This form contains all the necessary information for each of the applicants and their guardians. All those who attended are applicants and will go through a selection process to determine who will participate in the main pageant.
Ha comenzado la nueva edición y, por ello, se convocó a un casting presencial. Todas las chicas y adolescentes que aceptaron participar fueron invitadas a asistir con sus tutores legales al Hotel Lidotel el fin de semana pasado. El Lidotel es uno de los patrocinadores del certamen y proporciona sus salones e instalaciones tanto para los castings como para las clases de formación de modelos.
Las madres y los padres asistieron con las chicas. Tras acceder al salón, se les entregó un formulario para que lo rellenaran con atención. Este formulario contiene toda la información necesaria de cada una de las aspirantes y sus tutores. Todas las asistentes son aspirantes y pasarán por un proceso de selección para determinar quiénes participarán en el certamen principal.
The organizers accepted the plaque and clearly explained the pageant's rules. This pageant shows great respect for the participants; it's not a competition where the girls wear excessive makeup, nor will there be a swimsuit parade. Since the participants are girls and teenagers, the parade will feature sportswear. The goal is for the girls to maintain their childlike spirit and to differentiate this pageant from others where the girls are made up as if they were adults.
Representatives of some participants from previous years also accepted the plaque, as did the young mentors who won the previous year, offering their unconditional support to the aspiring contestants participating in this first audition.
They took the opportunity to have the pageant's choreographer give them a runway lesson, to assess who already had experience at a modeling academy and who were beginners. This allowed them to observe each contestant's performance in her first class. They will continue attending the following classes to ensure the evaluation process and finalize the selection, as the final gala of the competition is scheduled for August.
Los organizadores tomaron la placa y explicaron claramente las bases del certamen. Este certamen ofrece un gran respeto a las participantes; no es un certamen donde las chicas se maquillan en exceso, ni habrá un desfile en traje de baño. Dado que las participantes son niñas y adolescentes, el desfile presentará ropa deportiva. El objetivo es que las chicas conserven su espíritu infantil y diferenciar este certamen de otros donde se maquilla a las chicas como si fueran adultas.
Representantes de algunas participantes de ediciones anteriores también tomaron la placa, al igual que las jóvenes madrinas ganadoras del año anterior, quienes ofrecieron su apoyo incondicional a las aspirantes que participaron en esta primera audición.
Aprovecharon la oportunidad para que el coreógrafo del certamen les diera una clase de pasarela, para evaluar quiénes ya tenían experiencia en una academia de modelaje y quiénes eran principiantes. Esto les permitió observar el desempeño de cada concursante en su primera clase. Continuarán asistiendo a las siguientes clases para asegurar el proceso de evaluación y finalizar la selección, ya que la gala final del certamen está programada para agosto.
