Yes... I also have to hit the corporate world as well.
I do work as a freelance Continuous Improvements consultant. I have a Six Sigma Black Belt through IASSC and realized I can make more consulting than in a salaried, 5 day a week job.
This will be my home away from home for the next 5 weeks. It is a small office but very quiet. It will be really easy to knock out some low hanging fruit and turn the company around.
Contracted jobs are very fast paced but allow me to travel and explore. It is always nice though when a place stocks you up with drinks/snacks on the first day.
Time to crunch some numbers and see how profitable I can make this company!!! My schedule for next month has me finishing this job, to the UK for 2 weeks, then to New Jersey for a week long process implementation rollout!!!
This job can be a challenge for a girl... Fast paced and working primarily with men... But I wouldn't change it for anything!!!
If it makes dollars, it makes sense!!!
