This is my first delve into the world of photography. I was inspired by a friend and decided to pick up a Canon D series camera from a local photography store.
Once I had my new camera... It was time for a 3 day excursion through the rolling hills and terrain of the Appalachian Trail.
We made our way to our camping spot for the night with little excitement and turned in for the next day.
We hiked for about 4 miles to a stream and I got a few good shots. It was a hot day and partly overcast.
Taking in the mountain air was exhilarating. It was a little cooler the higher we climbed. We had the trails to ourselves except for the occasional jogger or elderly couple.
The next day we kayaked down the river. It was a beautiful morning but much more chilly.
We found a secluded bend that was tranquil and stopped for some pictures and swimming.
I really enjoyed my first take and plan on making return trips soon!!!
