SPLINTERLANDS NEWBIE 101: KNOW THE BASIC, GUIDES AND POSITIONING

For newbies you must know the basic sources of magic in splinterlands namely:
FIRE ELEMENT, WATER, LIFE, DEATH, DRAGON AND EARTH.
you can choose first the summoners under fire element like:

These are example of summoners and you must choose only one.
Then you can now choose fire monster with their skills and abilities.

These are the abilities of a monster cards , you can see at the lower of the cards.

In #splinterlands there are only 6 given to you to fill in the given mana combination not more than or less. You can see mana of the card at the right corner on top. You may used your positioning according to your strat and technique hiw to win the match.

Splinterlands Battles and Understanding Cards Ability

First click on the battle button in Splinterlands it is a rank battle the higher your rank before season ends, the higher your rank before season ends the more rewards you will earn.
After you’ve enter the rank battle you will automatically match to other player, then you can now choose your card line-up, you can purchase NFT cards on the market place using real money, but if you don’t want to spend there are some cards that is playable and you can use in every duel.
For choosing your card lineup you will start by choosing what Summoner element you want to use, each Summoners has their own buff and debuff that will reflect eitheir your monster or the opponents monster, some buff and debuff of Summoners are Life Drain, Heal, Increase attack power, decrease attack power, decrease HP, etc.
After choosing an elemental summoners, you can now choose a monster for your summoners, the only monster that you can choose is based on what elements is your summoners, example if you choose a fire summoners, you can only choose fire monster, if you choose water summoners, you can only use water monster, except for those neutral monster, you can use them on any elemental summoners.

DIFFERENT ROLES OF MONSTER CARDS:

Melee Cards

Melee cards are those types of cards that can usually attack when it is placed on the front line, some melee types have high HP and shield compared to some other cards.

Some melee types have a sneak ability that enables them to attack opponents’ cards, even when they are placed at the back.

Range Attack

This kind of card in this game serves as a sniper, since it is usually placed at the back end of the formation, and it loses its ability to attack when it is placed on the front side.

Magic Attack

Next is the card that is called a “magic attack card”, these types of cards may also attack from a distance like the range attack cards, one of the especially abilities of this card is to ignore the shield of the defender, and not just that, the magic attack also didn’t miss its target.

Some monster cards also have special abilities that can be used in a duel, choosing cards with good abilities is highly recommended to increase the chance of winning a battle.
