Well, I am officially the walking dead. Lol. The last 24 hours has proven more taxing on so many counts than I ever anticipated... and the mixed emotions is worse than the most hectic rollercoaster, no exaggeration!!! Firstly, it has been 15 + yrs since I have had a dog so the neediness of a puppy vs a kitten has been a huuuuge wake up call. Lol. Second, Jude was all thrilled until he saw just how much time and attention the puppy demanded and then had a complete meltdown because the pup was making him feel left out.
Then there is me, having not slept more than about 5 hrs.... trying to cope, manage and absorb all of this, plus still constantly having our beautiful, but lost Holly in my mind :( Massive Adjustments. I know they will be worth it, but daaamn...... am I feeling broken on all fronts.
