So on Saturday it was my little man's karate grading, although... he really isn't so little anymore. Jude started karate a few years ago but then stopped after the bullying at school. Since I made the decision to move him to online schooling, the reality of having to incorporate extra-curricular sports as well as social engagement has hit hard. After being given options , Jude decided that one of the things he would like to do is go back to karate.
He has only been back for just over a month now and I am so proud of him because he was junior orange belt with two stripes when he left off... and at the grading he skipped two stripes and went straight onto senior orange belt.
So, this fantastic achievement, coupled with his excellent end of year marks... he has absolutely earned his holiday leisure time!!!
