I'm so amazed by what you've been through, and what an amazing mama you are, @samsmith1971. It's really enlightening to see what parents of children with a spectrum of challenges experience, and how they must relentlessly advocate for their children. I can completely understand how receiving the actual diagnosis gave you a huge amount of relief. It meant that more resources and possibilities would open up for you, and that you wouldn't be so alone. Thank goodness you stuck with it and never gave up!
