I really enjoyed this story, @lightpen. The pictures you chose are so great too. They go perfectly with the story, as we first see Ojo as a boy, and then as a young man. It made me smile.

I also laughed out loud when I read the part about the teacher being surprised that none of the students wanted to sign up for a teaching career, knowing the standard of living it would entail.

So none of you is willing to become a teacher.

You could write a whole story about that teacher. That one line of dialog says so much about her!
