Yes, it's a great idea. I honestly don't recall how the royalties worked with the project I participated in. I didn't care that much, as I knew that sales would be minimal. There is an enormous glut of self-published books out there that don't really see much in the way of sales, since there isn't a professional marketing effort or a book publisher to promote it on their site.

The reason I got involved in the Steem anthology was for just one benefit: to get another published title to my name. 😊

People shouldn't go into such a venture with the expectation to earn income, in my humble opinion. So -- consider how the project would work, how the anthologies would be designed, compiled, edited and published, and how the books would be marketed. I just want to help provide a dose of reality, so you know what you're up against!
