Really enjoyable and suspenseful story, @janaveda. Even though the travelers were novices in the wilderness. It was good that they knew how to ward off dangerous animals. I amused myself with the idea that the men were eating tuna, and cats love tuna. And of course a mountain lion is a big cat. So maybe they attracted it with the tuna!
