Oh my! I read through this once, wondering "who is he actually talking to?" And then once I figured it out I read through again and every line suddenly made sense. It's like suddenly understanding the language of a prophet who was speaking in tongues. I love it! And we all wrestle with one demon or another, so I am sure any reader can connect with this story.
