I really loved this story. It is a rich experience for the reader to join up with Gabrielle on her walk through the woods and meadows. It seems like a very symbolic journey as she comes to a place and time where she must face the reality of who she is.

Also, I learned the word gallimaufry, which I have never heard before in my life!
